The Project Was Conceived By Our Group Ceo Mr. Atul Saxena, After Finding The Huge Shortage Of Quality Spawn To The Indian Mushroom Growers. He Worked On Various Indian & International Projects, Worked Together With Various Eminent Personalities To Reshape The Entire Indian Mushroom Industry. He Has Closely Worked With United Nations & Have Been A Consultant To Government Of Spain & Government Of Mauritius.
He Gained Tremendous Experience Of Global Businesses And Emerging Technologies In Mushroom Cultivation. With An Idea To Serve Indian Mushroom Industry In A Professional Manner The Business Was Systematized Under The Brand Of “Milkyway Mushroom Spawn”.

MILKYWAY pioneered to establish hi-tech fully dedicated commercial units for the systematic production of international quality spawn in India. Almost all big, medium and small mushroom cultivation units have been the customers of MILKYWAY. Now with standardized technology coupled with deep market understanding aims to double its market share every year & develop an R&D Setup for breeding mushroom varieties.

Production
In the year 2016-2017, about 50000 tons of mushrooms were produced in India. It translates into average spawn consumption of 2500 to 5000 tons.
Laboratory Testing
We operate two dedicated inoculum facilities which are fully separate from spawn production plants. These labs supply our spawn factories across the globe with the most rigorously tested base material in the industry.
